Breakfast on the Car
Some mornings in order to speed our departure from the house I eat my breakfast in the car on the way to daycare while Paul drives. Today we were a mile up the freeway when I realized that I was missing my breakfast. I looked in the passenger side mirror, and there it was, my bowl of oatmeal sitting on top of the car. Paul pulled over, I collected my breakfast off the roof of the car, and ate it on the way to daycare. We now know two things: Paul is a very good driver and we are very lucky that we didn’t cause an accident.
The other first for the day is that Anna figured out how to reach under the pillow where I hide my palm pilot. She fished out my palm pilot and was so happy with the result that she proceeded to reach under the pillow checking for other things to fish out. Sigh. The first of many hiding places bites the dust. It was doubly exciting for Anna though because she is certain that a palm pilot must be an excellent toy since Mommy won’t let her play with it.
